Squidoo.com is one of the newer social networking sites modeled after MySpace and Facebook but unlike those two it encourages the marketing of products and services. The material is grouped by category helping the Squidoo follower get right to whatever they are looking for. Squidoo has an article on how to do that which includes links to possible destinations, attractions and places to stay. Generating possible leads for your company has never been easier.

It is important to make a lens on Squidoo that will attract users to your products or services. To get started, all you need to do is create a free account. Have a look at some other lenses on Squidoo before you put your own lens on there. When you are ready to set up your own lens, click on the Make A Lens box and begin. To begin with you will have to explain what your intentions for the lens are. Then you pick a category that you would like your lens to fall under and will fill in the URL for your website next. Add some key search words for your lens and fill out your profile.

The reason why Squidoo calls their pages ‘lenses’ is to point out that this is what the user fucusses on. The traffic to the site could possibly be 500,000 per day, and each of these visitors represents a potential customer. When you begin your lens, you are required to fill up the initial module which is an introduction to you and your subject. Next, you can create a guest book for your visitors and add an area with links to similar sites. You can make easy money on Squidoo by linking different products to yours, and you will get rewarded for every product that is sold. All that is left to do is click on the publish button and watch your Squidoo lens do your work.
